This temporary installation located inside Viva Alliance’s contemporary art gallery led guests down a spiral walkway, visually concealing a tarot reader within while acting as a metaphor for life’s uncertain path.

Arranged so visitors walked the structure’s full perimeter prior to entering, the anticipation-building path led to the installation’s centre where the readings took place. Built of simple but striking halved cardboard cylinders, the installation demonstrated the high degree of structural integrity imparted by this curved geometry while exploring the dramatic play of light and shadow on the repeated surfaces.
