Atmospheric Perspective is in search of an Architectural Designer/Intern Architect to support project execution as a key member of our design team. This role will rely on your unique creativity, strong people skills, technical understanding and ability to support the development of compelling design presentations as well as comprehensive contract documents. You are excellent at relationship-building, have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and excel at clear and constructive communication. This role is open to Architecture Students interested in an 8 month co-op term.

Qualifications
- Past industry experience with institutional project experience preferred,
- Experience in all project design phases from schematic design to contract documents,
- Growing knowledge of construction standards and building codes,
- Proficiency in Revit preferred,
- Interest in visual scripting and ai integration preferred.

As Architectural Designer/Intern Architect, you will be responsible for:
Leadership:
- Fostering collaboration and teamwork through open and constructive dialogue, encouraging feedback,
- Supporting internal team meetings in a productive, enthusiastic manner, eagerly and respectfully engaging in discussions around technical constraints, finding workable solutions without compromising design intent,
- Supporting sub-consultant communication and documenting design team meetings with multiple parties,
- A growing understanding and demonstration of critical thinking: does the work align with our project goals and guiding principles? Are we meeting technical requirements without compromising design intent? Are we working efficiently?

Design Documentation:
- Supporting the production of design presentations and submission packages,
- Thinking creatively about design problems; and proposing potential design solutions through the proactive creation of sketches, physical models and 1:1 mock-ups,
- Creating compelling diagrams, renderings and drawings,
- Expanding our responsible use of AI in the production of design documentation.
Technical Documentation:
- Supporting the production of comprehensive construction documents,
- Proactively flagging issues, risks and opportunities,
- Contributing to coordination of technical requirements with sub consultants and suppliers,
- Responsibly expanding our use of automation in the creation of construction documents.

Project Management:
- Contributing to task planning, and management of project schedules,
- Progress reporting relative to project milestones,
- Preparing meeting agendas and meeting summaries.

As Architectural Designer / Intern Architect, you'll routinely demonstrate the following:

Location:
- Vancouver based, in office position,
Compensation and 32-40 hour work week:
- Salaried position: $3,800-$4,300/month. Final compensation will be commensurate with experience.
- Working 32-40 hours per week, based on workload and collective team planning
